The beginning of July brought many things-heat, smoke from wildfires by Fairbanks, the July 4th celebration and the Northwest Native Trade Fair. My daughter Christy and her roommate Shawn came to visit the first week of July and they got to experience most of it.
July continues and today is the 17th. Most days this month have been into the 60's and 70's and I haven't seen so many people wearing shorts since leaving New Orleans. When the sun is out it seems like the whole town is out walking, riding, playing ball, boating........
The berries have arrived and it is a pleasure to go picking on a warm afternoon.
Just a few more pictures of this busy month. First we were given a nice crab fresh off the boat as we were cleaning 12 salmon we had just gotten fresh off another boat. The next day we just took a leisurely ride viewing what probably is the last of the flowers.
