Patty's sister Susie and her husband Tim came to visit the beginning of August. The first day we taught them to ride 4 wheelers and took them out on the tundra where they got to pick berries.
The second day we took a boat ride up the Noatak river with Elmer, a 62 year old local, a really nice guy, and a wealth of life's experiences in the arctic.
The third day we toured town, took a ride up cemetery hill, and rode out on the tundra on a never ending quest for Tim's birds.
