The temps warmed into the teens above zero the weekend of 2/19 and 2/20. That Sunday we took a ride first to Lockhart point as we were told folks were catching fish there. It is still pretty early for them to be that close but we just had to try. We did not catch any but we had fun anyway. After fishing a while, since it was a good day for riding, we rode back into town and took a trail across the peninsula.
I am still amazed when I stop long enough to actually look at where we are and marvel at the beauty of it all.
Patty flew to the village of Noorvik for one day on Thursday 2/24/05.
