Saturday March 27th the Boys and Girls club had a planned ski event. We went out to help with the event which involved transporting a lot of kids, skis, food, and adults across the frozen Kotzebue Sound to the north shore which is called Sesolik. From there we road inland a ways passing trees which I have to say that that alone was a big treat for us. We came to a spot set up the previous day nestled in gently rolling hills that lay inside the boundaries of Cape Krusenstern National park.
The kids got cross country ski lessons and made two trips broken by lunch before we all loaded back up and headed home.
Once again I cannot describe the feeling of doing the things we are doing and seeing the things we are seeing.
We hope you enjoy the pictures.
