New Years Eve we once again went out to assist the Fired Department in setting up the towns fireworks. We went to the hall around 8pm to help unpack the displays. We drove out to front street where the annual night snowmachine race was about to take place and took a couple of pictures before heading home to warm up. At 11 we all returned to the hall and loaded up the displays and folks in three trucks then drove out on the sound. We completed just before the stroke of midnight and we declined the offer to light them allowing the guys in Nomex Fire Suits set them off. We stood next to our truck about 500 yards out on the frozen sound in front of town and watched the display with town as the backdrop.
What an experience!
