January 10th was our 32nd wedding anniversary. It was a Thursday night which is also the Volunteer Fire Department Meeting. We ate a quick meal of cheese sandwiches and fruit before heading over. One of the ladies knew it was our anniversary so she brought a cake. During the meeting I surprised Patty with an anniversary ring, something I had been wanting to do for years but she always said she wasn't interested. Guess what? She DOES like sparkly things.
After I gave her the ring it was business as usual.
ON the 14th we had a fire call that thank goodness did not turn out to be much. However it was 38 below zero that night.
On the 19th we had a blizzard.
On the 26th we had a rare "day" of sunshine-all 4 hours of it.
