Darkness has finally returned. This is a sunrise, something we have not had for over two and a half months.
On August 20th I was awakened right at 4am by the phone. It was dispatch calling to notify me that four structures were on fire.
One building was fully engaged and three others were on fire. With the help of the Firefighter One training that had just completed a month ago, the team was able to contain the fire and save three of the four structures. This is an amazing accomplishment for this department.
